"Sofrito" is a Latin jazz classic made famous by legendary percussionist Mongo Santamaria. Michael Mossman's smoldering arrangement features a moderate cha-cha groove and plenty of ensemble excitement throughout. With feature spots for the rhythm section, space for open solos, and even optional band vocals, this one churns from beginning to end!
