Description

The Andachtsjodler, a devotional yodelling song without words, originated in around 1800 in South Tyrol, and is liturgically associated with the Christmas mass. Since its rediscovery in around 1930, it has become increasingly popular and is regularly sung and chanted by performers and audience at the end of the Salzburg advent service.
