Badinerie or Badinage denotes a dance-like characterpiece in the suites of the 18th century, characterized by a relaxed two-stroke beat. Probably the most well-known example is the Badinerie from Orchestral Suite No. 2 in B minor by J. S. Bach, here as a beautiful arrangement for four saxophones!
