Created during an inspirational collaboration between the Fairfax Choral Society Poetry of Music, the Fairfax Public Schools and the composer, young people were encouraged to write poetry.

The metaphor embraced by the young poets is that of a flame in all of us that, which when encouraged, keeps dancing and giving others hope. The music embraces this reverence and when joined by the text, a truly special message is shared.
