The Missa Sancti Henrici is a work of Biber’s later years. It is one of his largest and most mature pieces of church music. With the skillful alternation of the “stile antico” and the “stile moderno,” as well as the contrast between Solo and Tutti, Biber attained a structure within the individual movements rich in variety.
